Geraldine Mabel (Arnold) Peifer, 76, a resident of Lower Salford Township since 1964, passed away at Grand View Hospital on December 13, 2010. She was the wife of the late John Albert Peifer who passed away in 2007. Born December 22, 1933 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Howard Henry and Mabel Ellen (Allwein) Arnold and a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. Mrs. Peifer was a devoted wife and mother and cherished time with her grandchildren. Surviving are four children, Walter A. Peifer and his wife, Jennie M. of St. Petersburg, Fla., Cathy P. Heckler and her husband, Shawn B. of Harleysville, John A. Peifer and his wife, Kathleen M. of Pottstown, and Joseph A. Peifer and his wife, Deborah A. of Telford; seven siblings, Sara Ann Arnold of Myerstown, Catherine Parisi of Longport, N.J., Frances Emas of Philadelphia, Sr. Agnes Leona, Order of St. Joseph, of Flourtown, Howard Arnold and his wife, Jackie of Lebanon, Rose Felty of Ocean City, Md., and Joseph Arnold and his wife Margaret of Lebanon. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kathleen, Luke, Corey, and Devin; three stepgrandchildren; Ryan, Shannon, and Brooke; and her beloved dog, "Roxie". Mrs. Peifer was very much looking forward to the upcoming birth next week of her first great-grandchild, Isaiah, on her 77th birthday. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Allwein, Mary Arnold, Gertrude Trompeter, and Regina Combs; and four brothers, Robert, William, Raymond, and Samuel Arnold. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Church of St. Mary, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville. Interment will be private. For those desiring, contributions may be made in her memory to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960. Arrangements are by Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia Twp.
