  Thelma Grumbine Peiffer 
   
  Thelma Peiffer LEBANON Thelma Grumbine Peiffer, 85, of 605 S. 8th St., Apt. 
  501, died Tuesday April 20, 2010, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She 
  was the wife of E. Peiffer, Sr., who died in 1970. Born in Union Deposit, on 
  November 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lottie Gibney 
  Grumbine. She retired from the H. B. Reese Candy Co., Hershey, and was a 1942 
  graduate of Hershey High School. Thelma was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan 
  and was happiest when she was playing blackjack and bingo. Surviving are a son, 
  Donald, husband of Carol Peiffer of Henderson, Nev.; a daughter, Frances, wife 
  of Robert Enck of Newmanstown; grandchildren, Lenny Autumn, Amanda, Kenneth, 
  Michael, and Terri; 11 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat-grandson; two 
  brothers, Richard, husband of Linda Grumbine of Pine Grove, and Barry, husband 
  of Susan Grumbine of Arizona; and four sisters, Betty Stark of Lebanon, 
  Dolores, wife of Leroy Wengert of Mechanicsburg, Arlene Armstrong of Chester 
  Springs, and Janice Engle of Hershey. She was preceded in death by two sons, 
  Robert E. Peiffer, Jr. and Terry L. Peiffer; and a granddaughter, Joanne. 
  Memorial services will be held on Saturday May 1, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. from the 
  Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be 
  held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 
  10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be 
  made to the Children's Miracle Network, P.O. Box 855, Hershey, PA 17033.
