  Floyd W. "Bill" Pendleton 
   
  Floyd W. Pendleton HERSHEY Floyd W. 'Bill' Pendleton, 88, passed away 
  peacefully Friday, February 26, 2010, in the Palmyra Nursing Home. He was born 
  November 7, 1921, in New York City, a son of the late Floyd and Thelma (Gaines) 
  Pendleton. A graduate of Hershey High School Class of 1939, Bill was a WWII 
  Army veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre with the 7th Division. He 
  retired from the former Hershey Foods with 44 years of service and was a 
  consultant for JC Ehrlich. Bill was a founding member of All Saints Episcopal 
  Church and served many years on the Vestry. He was also a member of the 
  American Legion, VFW and DAV. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Marian 
  (Yorty) Pendleton; two daughters, Ann Pendleton and her husband, Vincent of 
  Colorado and Sally Rushman and her husband, Michael of Vermont; a daughter-in-
  law, Cindy Pendleton of Colorado; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. 
  Bill was preceded in death by his son, John 'Jack'; and two brothers, Ralph and 
  Jack Pendleton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in All 
  Saints Episcopal Church, 310 Elm Ave., Hershey. A visitation will be held one 
  hour prior. Private interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of 
  flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in his memory to 
  either his church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International 26 
  Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004. Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 
  of Hershey is handling the arrangements.
