  Daniel E. K. Rains 
   
  Daniel E.K. Rains CLEONA Daniel E. K. Rains, 56, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, in 
  the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Cynthia L. Sadler Rains. 
  Born in Jefferson, Iowa on July 23, 1953, he was the son of Betty I. Gaunt 
  Rains Goad of Sequim, Washington and Eldon M. Rains of Ridgecrest, Calif. He 
  was the self-employed owner of Rains Electric, Cleona and a Licensed Baptist 
  Preacher. He served as a Staff Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force in Guam, Thailand, 
  and Vietnam. Dan was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, New 
  Holland, a Cub Scout Den Leader and an Assistant Pack Leader of Pack 453, 
  Annville, and a loving husband, father, son, and brother. Surviving, in 
  addition to his wife and parents, are three sons, Brett J. Rains of Washington, 
  David W.K. Rains of Sequim, Wash., and Danny T.J. Rains at home; three 
  grandchildren, Baylee Joseph Rains, Zachary Karnetski, and Jordan Taylor; a 
  brother, Douglas P.L. Rains of Oakridge, Ore.; and two sisters, Evrita 
  E. 'Sissy' Romero of Richmond, Calif., and Rosalie I. Rains of Malibu, Calif. 
  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral 
  Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be held in Sequim 
  View Cemetery, Sequim, Wash., with Military Honors. Viewing will be held on 
  Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to his Church, 653 Meeting House Road, Gap, PA 17527; 
  or Cub Scout Pack 453, C/O Pam Miller, 116 N. Railroad Street, Annville, PA 
  17003.
