Ranck, 67, of 1996 Main St., died Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Lebanon VA Hospital after a brief illness. His wife, Sandra M. (Fellenbaum) Ranck, died May 28, 2010. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Earl W. and Florence (Hertzler) Ranck. Earl worked at Bethlehem Steel as a mechanical worker. During the Vietnam War he served in the US Army. He was a member of the New Holland American Legion and the American Steel Workers Union, Local #1688. He also enjoyed old cars. Surviving are a son, Keith E. Ranck at home; two stepdaughters, Sherry Barber of San Jose, Calif., and Tanya, married to Ryan Pittman of Denver; and a sister, Bonnie, married to Bill Conrad of Reinholds. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Earl's memory to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
