  George C. Reichardt PALMYRA George C. Reichardt, 89, of West Spruce St., died 
  Friday, January 15, 2010, at the Palmyra Nursing Home. He was the widower of 
  Dorothy N. (Kingcade) Reichardt. Born October 5, 1920, in Philadelphia, he was 
  the son of the late George and Emily Kurtz Reichardt. Retired from Athos Steel 
  and Aluminum, Philadelphia, he was a member of the American Legion, a U.S. 
  Marine Corps veteran of World War II serving with the 4th Marine Division in 
  the Pacific Arena, and was a Silver Star recipient. Surviving are his sons, 
  Glenn G., husband of Dorothy J. Reichardt of Annville, and Alan J. Reichardt of 
  Philadelphia; his best friend and brotherin-law, Frank Reigner of Norristown; 
  three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 
  held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant 
  St., Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 6 p.m. Interment will be at the 
  convenience of the family in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn. Memorial contributions 
  may be made to the Palmyra Nursing Home, 341 N. Railroad St., Palmyra, PA 
  17078.
