Renik, 82, of Elmcroft, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010, at the home. She was a life-long resident of Lebanon until recently residing at Elmcroft. She was the wife of the late Theodore T. Renik to whom she was united in marriage on September 3, 1949. Born in Lebanon on March 5, 1928, Olive was the daughter of the late Henry and Katie Weaver Snyder. She was a retired Seamstress at the former Everite Knitting Mills in Lebanon. Olive loved traveling and deep sea fishing with her husband, going to the beach, and playing bingo. She enjoyed making many friends while at Elmcroft. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church, Lebanon. She is survived by three children, Jacqueline L., wife of Joseph Peyton, of Frederick, Md.; Theodore J. Renik, of Atlantic City, N.J.; and Patricia L., wife of Anthony Carta, of Lock Haven; one grandchild, Amy, wife of James Prange of Nathalie, Va.; four great- grandchildren, Maria, Priscilla, James, and Philip; and one brother, Raymond Snyder. She was preceded in death by step father, Philip Honafius.Funeral Mass Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from St. Cecilia's Church, 202 E. Lehman St. Lebanon. Interment at St Gertrude's Cemetery, Lebanon. Viewing Tuesday afternoon 1 to 2 at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of the arrangements.
