  John T. Richard 
  
  KUTZTOWN John T. Richard, 84, formerly of Rehrersburg and a resident of 
  Kutztown Manor, died Friday, October 15, 2010, of natural causes at the Reading 
  Hospital. His wife, Helen M. (Weidman) Richard, died in 2004. John was born in 
  Reading, and was raised by the late William P. and Margaret C. Schaeffer. He 
  first worked at the New Holland Sales Barn, then at the former Caron Spinning 
  Mill in Robesonia, and retired from Adelphi Kitchens in Robesonia. He also 
  worked part-time for Kauffman's Chicken in Rehrersburg and at Ray's Food 
  Service in Lebanon. He was a member of Altalaha Lutheran Church, Rehrersburg. 
  He was a life member of the Rehrersburg Fire Company and a member of the 
  Bethel, Mt. Aetna, Mt. Zion, and Womelsdorf Fire Companies. He is survived by a 
  daughter, Theresa S., wife of Charles L. Ruhf of Fleetwood; and a sister, 
  Barbara Muckel of Hamburg. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hill 
  Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, with the Rev. Dr. William P. Orr officiating. 
  Interment at Altalaha Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 
  10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
