  Ruth Elizabeth (Jefferies) Robertson 
   
  Ruth E. Robertson PALMYRA Ruth Elizabeth (Jefferies) Robertson, 91, of 
  Hostetter House, Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, formerly of Hershey, passed away 
  Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born 
  Tuesday, August 27, 1918, in South Hanover Township, to the late John M. and 
  Adella (Rott) Jefferies. Ruth was a homemaker, a 1936 graduate of Hershey High 
  School, a life-long member of SCCOB, a volunteer in the LVBH gift shop, and a 
  volunteer for Meals on Wheels and area food banks. Ruth is survived by two 
  daughters, Mary Diehl of Hagerstown, Md., and Martha Stuckey of Hummelstown; a 
  sister, Sara Hetrick of Galeton; five grandchildren, Beth Gaines, Jeremy 
  Palmer, Kristin Schmidt, Kim Hissong, and Robert Stuckey; and seven great-
  grandchildren, Anastasia, Erin, Madison, Anna, Aden, Olivia, and Nathan. She 
  was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold "Beno" Robertson; two brothers, 
  William and Clarence Jefferies; and a sister, Florence Mixon. Memorial services 
  will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 E. 
  Areba Ave., Hershey, 17033 with Pastor Dennis Garrison officiating. Family and 
  friends are invited for visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service. 
  Burial will be private in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey. Rothermel Funeral 
  Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 is entrusted 
  with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her 
  honor to LVBH, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078; or to her church.
