Rowe COLONIAL PARK Julia Villa Rowe, 80, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman W. Rowe, Jr., and brothers, Peter Villa and Stephen Villa. She was an active 40 year member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Colonial Park, where she organized a surviving spouses group, was a WELCA board member, and participated in Craft Artisans and many special projects. She was an area coordinator for Meals on Wheels, and an active volunteer in the community. Julia graduated in 1948, from Lebanon High School and served for many years on the reunion committee. She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading, crossword puzzles, music, and her many friends. Her loving, caring heart touched everyone she met. Julia is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Pautsch of Woodbury, MN, Nancy Rowe of Colonial Park; a sister, Anna Villa of Palmyra; a brother, George Villa of Honolulu, Hawaii; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in her church, with Rev. James E. Person officiating. Burial will be on Monday, October 18, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday in the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Susquehanna Township. Memorial contributions in Julia's honor may be made to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church 4200 Londonderry Road Harrisburg, PA 17109; or to Hospice of Central Pa 1320 Linglestown Road Harrisburg, PA 17110.
