  Marylou Sando LEBANON Marylou Sando, 82, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, in the 
  Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of L. Gordon Sando to whom 
  she was married 62 years. She was born in Mt. Zion (Bethel Twp.), on July 6, 
  1927, daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Ream Groft. Marylou formerly worked 
  for Smith Candies in the former Lebanon Market on 9th St. She was a member of 
  Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and the Ladies Aux. of the Lebanon 
  Fireman's Assoc. She formerly was a Cub Scout den mother at Bethany U.M.C., and 
  a band parent at L.H.S. She loved to travel through New England, visiting 
  lighthouses and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her 
  husband, she is survived by her sons, Bartley Sando of Lebanon, John Sando and 
  wife, Norma of Lickdale, and Michael Sando and wife, Paula of Tiverton, R.I.; 
  daughters, Dawna and husband, Harry Stauffer of Lebanon, Deborah and husband, 
  Robert Eckert of Lebanon, and Carla Shaw of Lebanon; 15 grandchildren; five 
  great-grandchildren; brothers, James and Ronald Groft; and sisters, Patricia 
  Souillard and Beatrice Evans. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Robert 
  Sando. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. in 
  the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, where a visitation 
  will begin at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to GSH 
  Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
