M. shabodeho@aol.com December 2, 2010, 6:20 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on November 29, 2010 Joseph M. Sanger LEBANON Joseph Mark Sanger, 66, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 27, 2010. He was the husband of the late Rosa Lopes Sanger who died in 2001. Born in Lebanon on January 18, 1944, he was the son of the late Clarence and Naomi Longenecker Sanger. 'Senor' was a Spanish teacher for 39 years at Hershey High School. He also taught Spanish at HACC, Lebanon. He was a graduate of ELCO High School, got his undergraduate degree while attending Messiah and Houghton College, and received his master's degree from Penn State University. Joseph was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, Rexmont where he served as the church organist and was also the Spanish and Portuguese translator for Voice of God recordings. He was his children's and grandchildren's biggest fan at their sporting and musical events. He also enjoyed traveling and visiting his wife's family in Brasil. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon R. wife of Joseph Davis of Lebanon; two sons, Marcus W. Sanger and wife, Rudy of Hollywood, Md., and Michael J. Sanger a student at Penn State University; five grandchildren, Sarah Davis Strunk wife of Micah Strunk, Jr., Ethan Davis, Kalise Sanger, Sadie Sanger, Mia Rose Sanger; a great-grandchild, Malachi Gabriel Strunk due to arrive in January; three brothers, Rev. David Sanger and wife Ruth of Lebanon, Norman Sanger and wife Miriam of Lebanon, Dale Sanger and wife Renee of Rexmont; and two sisters, Jeannette wife of David Brandt of Annville and Carol wife of Ron Wagner of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and also prior to the service on Thursday.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Voice of God, P.O.
