  PALMYRA Karen Rose (Hummel) Schaeffer, 70, passed away at her home on Monday, 
  November 29, 2010. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Glenn R. 
  Schaeffer.She was born August 10, 1940, in Shamokin, to the late Frank J. and 
  Sara J. (Schickley) Hummel.She is survived by two brothers, Barry Hummel and 
  wife Carol of Gambrills, Md., and Frank Hummel and wife Marilyn of Carmel, 
  Ind.; nieces and nephews, David Hummel and wife Melissa and their children, 
  Ashley and Madison, of Crofton, Md.; Daniel Hummel of Bethesda, Md.; Jennifer 
  Kircher and husband Robert and their children, Austin and Haylie, of 
  Elizabethtown.A private service will be held for the family.Arrangements have 
  been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine 
  St., Palmyra, PA 17078.Family requests memorials be made to, Evangelical Free 
  Church of Hershey, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
