Schneck, 91, of 58 Kindred Place, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010, in his residence. He was the husband of Betty E. Young Schneck, who died in 1991. Born in Washington Twp., Pine Grove, on August 7, 1918, he was the son of the late Gordon and Amanda Glore Schneck. Stanley was a sheet metal worker for Indiantown Gap, a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Lebanon, and a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a life member of the Liberty Fire Company and Marching Club, VFW 213th Society, and the Jonestown Legion. He is survived by a daughter, Linda E., wife of Robert Meyer of Lebanon; four brothers, Allen Schneck of Coudersport, Lester Schneck of Jonestown, and Martin and Russell Schneck, both of Lebanon; one sister, Grace E. Umbenhauer of Lebanon; two granddaughters, Kim Marie, wife of Andy Shearer, and Jennifer Lynn, wife of Paul Whitman; two greatgranddaughters, Andrea and Kristina Shearer; and a great-grandson, Logan William Whitman. Stanley was preceded in death by three brothers, Harvey, Earl, and Glenn Schneck; and a granddaughter, Kirstan Marie Miller. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1, at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Burial will take place in Grand View Memorial Park with full military honors. Viewings will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark's U.C.C., 426 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17042; or Kindred Place, 1 Kindred Place, Annville, PA 17003.
