  Viola M. Schwalm 
  
  LEBANON Viola M. Schwalm, 86, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010, in Manor 
  Care, Lebanon. Born on December 11, 1923, in Bethel Twp., she was a daughter of 
  the late Herbert and Caroline Koons Unger. She was a member of Outwood Lutheran 
  Church, Pine Grove. Viola worked as a seamstress and also was employed at the 
  VA Hospital, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. 
  Schwalm; brothers, Clayton, Russell, Charles 'Lindy', Paul, Soloman, and 
  William Unger; and sisters, Roxie Unger, Irene Strouphauer, Helen Behney, 
  Lizzie Ditzler, Lillie Sterner and Loretta Semmel. Surviving are two sons, 
  Larry D. Schwalm of Lebanon and Carl L. Schwalm of Fredericksburg; a daughter, 
  Susan Claypool of Hershey; seven grandchidren and nine great-grandchildren. 
  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the H. 
  L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Rev. Barry Spatz officiating. 
  There will be a viewing on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the 
  Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 
  Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to 
  the charity of your choice in her memory.
