Born April 9, 1938, in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Thomas I. and Alice M. (Nye) Wells. She worked for local sewing companies, but caring for her family was always her main priority. A graduate of Hershey High School, she was a member of Campbelltown United Christian Church, the Countryside Christian Community Auxiliary Board, and was Secretary/Treasurer of the Balsbaugh Missionary Meeting. She loved her cats and spending time with friend. Accomplished at knitting and crocheting, she won a Blue Ribbon at the State Farm Show and awards at other fairs, and also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and creating floral arrangements. She was the widow of Walter E. Sears and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan M. Sears. Surviving are her sons, Barry D., husband of Sherri Sears of Lebanon and Mitchell E., husband of Shari Sears of Etters; siblings, Hazel Prange of Kirkwood and Lee Wells of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Andrew Sears, Melissa Sears, Nathan Sears, Michael Sears, and Jonathan Sears. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Campbelltown United Christian Church, 2811 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown. Viewing 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday both at the church. Burial will be in Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery.
