  Virginia E. Shaeffer LEBANON Virginia E. Shaeffer, 83, died Monday, February 1, 
  2010, in the Colonial Park Care Center, Harrisburg. She was the wife of the 
  late Elam Shaeffer Sr. She was born in Bumpass, Va., on June 2, 1926, daughter 
  of the late Rueben and Ella Sharpe Hanshaw. She was a member of the Calvary 
  Chapel in Lebanon. She loved her grand-dog, Chloe and enjoyed crocheting, 
  cooking and baking. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie, wife of Edward 
  Wagner Jr., Lebanon; son, Ellis Shaeffer, Lebanon; grandchildren, Jonathan, 
  Jason, Kristi, Sherri; several greatgrandchildren; sister, Carrie Kemp, Va.; 
  and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons, Elam 
  Shaeffer Jr. and Donald Lee Shaeffer. Graveside services will be held Friday at 
  1:30 p.m. in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of 
  flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 
  1274, Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon is handling the 
  arrangements.
