  James E. Shaffer, Sr., 60, of 620 Walnut Street, Lebanon, passed away September 
  1, 2010 at his residence. . 
  
  James was born in Lancaster, on November 26, 1949. He was a son of the late 
  James D. Shaffer. 
  
  He was a retired Machinist from Woodstream in Lititz. 
  
  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. 
  He was a graduate from Manheim Central High School. He enjoyed fishing, and 
  loved his grandchildren deeply. 
  
  James is survived by two children; Jackie Ensor, fiancee of Park Walton, both of 
  Lancaster, & James E. Shaffer, Jr., fiancee of Tracy Painter, both of Manheim, 
  and three grandchildren; Terry L. Baldwin III., Cory Shaffer and Steven Ensor. 
  
  Graveside services with Full Military Honors, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 - 9:00 
  AM at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. was 
  entrusted with arrangements.
