  LEBANON Edgar J. Shenk, 79, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at the VA Medical 
  Center, Lebanon. He was the husband of Frances M. (Ditzler) Shenk, to whom he 
  would have been married 39 years on November 24, 2010. Born in South Annville 
  Twp., on August 19, 1931, he was the son of the late Elmer and Irene (Riest) 
  Shenk. He was a 1949 graduate of Hershey High School and served in the U.S. 
  Army. He had been employed at Raymark Asbestos, Manheim, for 29 1/2 years and 
  was a member of New Beginnings-Grace Brethren Church, Myerstown. In addition to 
  his wife, he is survived by daughters, Ellen, wife of William Jackson of 
  Lebanon, and Eileen, wife of Henry Koons of Lebanon; grandchildren, Joshua 
  Fields, Drew Jackson, and Noah Jackson; sister, Myrna, wife of Lew Hemmingway 
  of Cape May, N.J.; brothers, Ira Shenk of Annville, and Samuel, husband of 
  Sandy Shenk of Annville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will 
  be held Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. from New Beginnings-Grace 
  Brethren Church, 430 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Monday from 7 to 8 
  p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, and Tuesday at 
  10 a.m. at the church. Interment at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu 
  of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "General Fund" of New 
  Beginnings-Grace Brethren Church, 430 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
