  Richard G. Shindel LEBANON Richard G. "Shifty" Shindel, 64, died on Wednesday, 
  June 2, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on Saturday, March 16, 
  1946, to George W. Shindel and Margie S. Shindel nee Hemperly in Palmyra. He 
  worked as a truck driver for Keystone Protein. He was involved with Mt. Lebanon 
  Lodge #226, Weidle Royal Arch Chapter #197, Lebanon Council #27, and Hermit 
  Commandery #24. Surviving are wife, Marilyn Shindel nee Kerkeslager of Lebanon; 
  daughter, Dawn, spouse of William Koerner; son, Troy, spouse of Ann Marie 
  Shindel; seven grandchildren; brother, George Wheeler of Phoenix, Ariz.; 
  sisters, Frances Bender of Eaton, Ohio, and RuthAnn Fraser of Longville, Minn.; 
  and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Richard G. 
  Shindel, Jr. Masonic services will be on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 11:45 a.m. 
  followed by a viewing from 12 to 1 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the 
  funeral home. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following 
  the service. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with 
  the arrangements.
