  FREDERICKSBURG Catherine A. Shirk, 95, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010, 
  at the Tremont Nursing Home. She was the wife of Elmer Shirk. She was born in 
  E. Franklin on November 27, 1914, and had worked as an aide for various nursing 
  homes. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Thomas E. Lynch, 
  husband of Catherine Lynch of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Thomas E. Lynch, 
  Jr., of E. Northport, N.Y., and Heidi Fountain of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four 
  great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 p.m. at 
  the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., 
  Jonestown. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. 
  Interment will be at the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Jonestown.
