  NEWMANSTOWN Mary W. Sholly, 96, died Monday, September 20, 2010, at the 
  StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown. She was the widow of John D. Sholly, Sr., 
  who died in 1983. Born in Stevens, on December 23, 1913, she was the daughter 
  of the late Harrison L. Steely and Annie (Whitmyer) Davis. She had been 
  employed 28 years at Binner Associates, Schaefferstown, retiring in 1979. She 
  attended United Christian Church, Newmanstown. She is survived by sons, John D. 
  Sholly, Jr. of Newmanstown, Larry R. husband of Patricia Sholly of Newmanstown 
  and Eugene E. Sholly of Reading; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 
  and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, 
  Lorraine L. Moore-Spitler in 1997. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 
  a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Friday 
  at 10 a.m. Interment at Millcreek Memorial Cemetery, Newmanstown.
