  Hilda M. Simmons 
   
  PALMYRA Hilda M. Simmons, 94, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at the Lebanon 
  Valley Brethren Home. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Berlin 
  Simmons; brother, Park Evans; and sisters, Mary Kline, Sara Hampton and Miriam 
  Deiter. Born March 13, 1916, in Palmyra, Hilda was the daughter of the late 
  Mark and Stella (Snyder) Evans. She was the last survivor of the immediate 
  family. She is survived by nieces and nephews from Delaware, West Virginia, 
  Ohio and Shavertown. Hilda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of 
  Palmyra. To honor Hilda's wishes there will not be a service. Burial at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be at the convenience of the 
  family.Memorial contributions may be made in Hilda's honor to her church at 520 
  E. Birch St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
