  Evelyn A. Etter Singley 
   
  Evelyn A. Singley UNION DEPOSIT Evelyn A. Etter Singley, 91, passed away 
  Tuesday, February 9, 2010, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Born in 
  Carlisle, on July 24, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George D. Etter 
  and Anna E. Maurice Etter Stump. Evelyn was the former manager of the gift shop 
  at Indian Echo Caverns, Hummelstown. She was a 1935 graduate of Carlisle High 
  School. Evelyn enjoyed bowling, gardening, and homemaking. In addition to her 
  parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin F. Singley, on 
  January 14, 2000; and two brothers, Howard Etter and Richard Etter. She is 
  survived by three sons, Ronald M. Stuart of Lebanon, Larry E. Stuart of 
  Hershey, and Ricky E. Singley of Hummelstown; one daughter, Vickie K. Berardone 
  of Union Deposit; one sister, Dorothy B. Metzler Beane of Linglestown; nine 
  grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. 
  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 15, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the 
  Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown. Interment will 
  be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , Capital 
  Region Unit, 3211 N. Front St., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
