  William H. Smith MYERSTOWN William H. Smith, 71, formerly of Newmanstown, died 
  Sunday, May 30, 2010, at his residence. He was the husband of Iva W. 
  (Burkholder) Smith, who died in 2005. Born in Lebanon, on January 5, 1939, he 
  was the son of the late Monroe and Ruby (Marks ) Smith. He had been employed 
  over 30 years at Quaker Alloy, Myerstown. He attended Fairhaven Mennonite 
  Church, Myerstown. He is survived by daughters, Eileen Smith of Myerstown, 
  Shirl, wife of Lane Ditzler of Newmanstown, Rose, wife of Melvin Martin of 
  Lititz, Diane, wife of Kevin Mehalko of Fredericksburg, and Bonnie, widow of 
  Robert Young of Myerstown; sons, Wayne, husband of Ellie Smith of Lititz, 
  Leonard, husband of Cindy Smith of Mt. Aetna, Brian Smith of Ephrata, and Randy 
  Smith of Myerstown; 18 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; sisters, Dorothy 
  Hartman of Lebanon and Barbara Moyer of Lebanon; brothers, John Smith of 
  Lebanon, Robert Smith of Richland, Daniel Smith of Lebanon, Carl Smith of 
  Bethel, and James Smith of Mt. Aetna; and several nieces and nephews. He was 
  preceded in death by sons, Duane and Dale Smith; and brothers, Lester and 
  Donald Smith. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from Grose 
  Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. 
  and Thursday 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Shirksville Mennonite 
  Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
