  Beatrice L. Snyder 
   
  Beatrice L. Snyder HERSHEY Beatrice L. Snyder, 97, a long time resident of 
  Hershey and daughter of the late Harry and Pearl (Erb) O'Neal, passed away 
  Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Betty was a graduate of the Lancaster General 
  Hospital School of Nursing. She served as a school nurse at the Derry Township 
  Elementary School; worked on the maternity ward of the old Hershey Hospital; 
  and was the office nurse for the late Dr. Fetterman in Hershey. She was the 
  oldest living member of the Derry Presbyterian Church in Hershey. Surviving are 
  her daughter, Priscilla Snyder of Ambler; a son, Gary Snyder, his wife, Linda 
  and their children, Chris and Kelly Snyder of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a sister, 
  Alma McKnight; and a brother, Karl O'Neal and his wife, Pauline. She was 
  preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Snyder. A graveside service will be 
  held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Hershey Cemetery followed by a memorial service 
  at 11 a.m. in the Derry Presbyterian Church Chapel. The family will receive 
  friends following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers 
  memorial contributions be made to the Kindred Place, 1 Kindred Place, Annville, 
  PA 17003; or to the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003; 
  or to her church at 248 E. Derry Road, Hershey, PA 17033. Hoover Funeral Home & 
  Crematory, Inc., Hershey is handling the arrangements.
