  JONESTOWN Thelma D. (Darker) Snyder, 87, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010, 
  at Lebanon Manor Care. She was the wife of the late Albert M. Snyder. Born in 
  Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late George Darker and Mary (Leroy) 
  Darker. In her earlier years, Mrs. Snyder was employed as a waitress at the old 
  Howard Johnsons and the Shuler House Restaurant and Hotel. In later years, she 
  was employed as a cutter at Sunset Manufacturing. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, 
  and reading. She is survived by one son, James M. Snyder, husband of Barbara of 
  Stowe; one daughter, Janet S. McKee, wife of Robert of Jonestown; one brother, 
  George Darker, Jr., husband of Marlene of Florida; four grandchildren, David 
  Snyder, Jeffrey Snyder, Debbie Boyer, and Anita Hipple; two great-
  grandchildren, Scott Boyer and Amanda Boyer; and four great-great- 
  grandchildren, Grant Clemens, Briana Clemens, Julia Boyer, and Scarlet Boyer. 
  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, 
  Maude Caples, Shirley Darker Bernosky, and Betty Darker; and one grandson, 
  Robert McKee, Jr. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Houck 
  & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown. The Rev. Lenn 
  Zeller will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in 
  Pottstown. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the 
  funeral home.
