  James N. Souders
  
  LEBANON James N. Souders, 76, passed away Monday, August 30, 2010, at Cedar 
  Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Christine (Hartman) 
  Souders. James was born in Lebanon on October 12, 1933, a son of the late Harry 
  L & Olive B. (Bedger) Souders. He was a retired Shoe Maker, having worked for 
  Bedford Shoe, Alsam Shoe and then retired from Ephreta Shoe. He served in the 
  US Army. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. He enjoyed automobiles and 
  drawing. He attended the Myerstown High School. He is survived by four 
  children, Mary Ann, wife of Michael Smolar of Adamstown, Alan Souders of 
  Columbia, Monica Butcher of Lancaster and Pamela, wife of Darryl Sheidy of 
  Fredericksburg; 13 grandchildren; Joseph, Melissa, Mona, Christy, Stephanie, 
  Ricky, Samantha, Sara, Christina, Marie, Darryl, Tracie and Ashley; 22 great-
  grandchildren; and a sister, Loretta Helman of Mechanicsburg. In addition to 
  his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Souders. Viewing 
  Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th 
  Street, Lebanon 17042. Graveside services 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross 
  Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers; the family request contributions to Ascera Care 
  Hospice, 315 Primrose Lane, Suite 101, Mountville, PA 17554. Thompson Funeral 
  Home, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
