  Helen S. Spitler 
   
  Helen S. Spitler MYERSTOWN Helen S. Spitler, 87, died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 
  the E.C.C. Retirement Village-Stoneridge Village Health Care Center. She was 
  the widow of Russell E. Spitler, who died November 16, 2006. Born in Sheridan, 
  on April 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Esther 
  (Shanaman) Spatz. She was retired from Gloray Knitting Mills, Robesonia, where 
  she worked 20 years. She was a member of Tulpehocken U.C.C., Richland, and the 
  Order of the Eastern Star, Conrad Weiser Chapter, Womelsdorf. She is survived 
  by daughters, Kathryn, wife of Ervin Kohl of Myerstown, and Patricia, wife of 
  Herman Faiola, Jr. of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and 
  sister, Dorothy Hayden of East Rochester, N.Y. She was preceded in death by a 
  daughter, Glenda Lausch; son, Russell Spitler, Jr.; and sister, Maggie Spatz. 
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Tulpehocken U.C.C., 961 
  Tulpehocken Road, Richland. Viewing Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the church. 
  Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in 
  charge of arrangements.
