Stewart HARRISBURG "Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast" Sandra K. Stewart, 36, left this world too soon along with her brother, Charles M. Stewart, on Saturday, April 17, 2010. They both were victims of a senseless act of violence. Sandra was employed by the Commonwealth as a Retirement Systems Regional Representative for the PA School Employees Retirement System. She was a member of the United Sports Bike Riders and rode for "Stop the Violence". She loved music, especially jazz. She enjoyed reading, bike riding on the riverfront with her son and sister, and even Charlie, when they could drag him along. Sandra was known for her efficiency and she also attended HACC. She will be missed by many including her son, Supreme Abdul Shabazz, II; her parents, Carol Kreider and Robert L. Stewart; her sister, Melissa Stewart; brother, Robert M. Stewart; sister-in-law, Nikole "China" Stewart; her "other mom", Brenda Kates; along with a host of other siblings, nieces, nephews, special relatives, and friends. Services will be held on Saturday at Bethel Village AME Church, 1721 N. 5th St., Harrisburg, 17102 at 11 a.m., with a viewing at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery. The family is very appreciative of your tremendous outpouring of love and kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Little Supreme and made payable to Carol Kreider to be deposited in trust. Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is caring for and handling Sandra's arrangements.
