Talley, 85, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010, in the Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia Lou Folmer Talley, who died in 1992. Born in Flemingsburg, Ky., on March 22, 1925, he was the son of the late Henry Arthur and Ida Belle Talley. James was a boiler tester for Cleaver Brooks and was a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville, Annville American Legion, and the Annville VFW. He is survived by six daughters, Frances, wife of David Maldonado of Annville, with whom he resided, Susan, wife of David Bauman of Lebanon, Constance Barnes and Jeanine Rahn, both of Annville, Jaime Giuliani of Hummelstown, and Jean Evans of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Kissick of Flemingsburg, Ky. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Robert Talley and Joseph Faulkner; and one sister, Mary Harney. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 8, at 8:30 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle Church 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made the American Diabetes Association , 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
