Ulrich, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Ulene 'Sara' (Gingrich) Ulrich on October 30, 2009. He was born Monday, May 18, 1925, in Annville, to the late George W. and Lottie (Becker) Ulrich. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the South Pacific during WWII. He retired in 1990 from Calcite Quarry in Myerstown. He was a Life Member of American Legion, Post 72, Palmyra. He is survived by two daughters, Debra A. Reb and husband, Patrick M. of Lebanon, and Kathy S. Armolt of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren, William A. Armolt of Lebanon, Jennifer L. Reb of Lebanon, Michael A. Reb and Christopher W. Reb of Philadelphia, and Sean P. Reb of Ft. Hood, Texas; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Chaplin Richard M. Morris officiating. Friends and family are invited for viewing from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial with full military honors will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross, 1220 Mifflin St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
