M. shabodeho@aol.com November 14, 2010, 11:53 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on November 10, 2010 Danita Dee Wampler ANNVILLE Danita Dee (Brensinger) Wampler, 66, died with family by her side on Monday, November 8, 2010, at her home in Annville. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Glenn R. Wampler. She was born Tuesday, April 4, 1944, in Lebanon, to the late Harold and Almeda (Nowlen) Brensinger. Danita loved all animals, caring for, nurturing back to health, and releasing those that were injured in the wild. She held a License in Animal Husbandry and Rehabilitation as the owner of Wamplers Wild Animals for 25 years. In addition, she was the proud owner of the Palmyra Cougar's Mascot "Neekee" for 20 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Tammy Boyer, wife of Richard of Jonestown; and a granddaughter, Marie Warner, wife of David of Lickdale. A funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078 with the Rev. Curtis Heisler officiating. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Private burial in Hicks Run Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Northern Lebanon F.F.A. Chapter, P.O. Box 100, Fredericksburg, PA 17026.
