Weihrauch, 88, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010, in the loving arms of the Lord, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Anthony Weihrauch. Hilda was born in Lebanon on July 5, 1921, a daughter of the late Simon and Kathryn (Kercher) Arnold. She was a Cook for the Priests at St. Gertrude's & St. Cecilia's Church for 25 years and also worked for Sterling Drug Co. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in which she sang in the choir, volunteered for many church functions, helped in the church kitchen and with making fasnacht doughnuts. She enjoyed spending time with her loving cats, Mason and Morgan. She is survived by two sons, Anthony, husband of Susan Weihrauch of Lebanon, and Steven Weihrauch of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Susan, Stephanie and Nicole Weihrauch, all of Lebanon; her devoted friend and caretaker, Lynne Schaeffer of Lebanon; three sisters-inlaw, Madeline Arnold, Eleanor Arnold and Betty Weihrauch, all of Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Simon and Joseph Arnold; four sisters, Marie Krall, Dorothy Waldrop, Catherine Scheer and Evelyn O'Byle. Funeral Mass Friday 11 a.m. from the Church of St. Cecilia, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, 17046. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
