Wenger, 82, of Berks County, died Friday, November 19, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp., where she was taken earlier that day. Her husband, H. Daniel Wenger, died February 20, 2006. Born in South Annville Township, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cora (Eckert) Gingrich. She was the secretary and bookkeeper for many years for H. Daniel Wenger and Brother, Upper Bern Twp. She was a member of Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, Centre Twp., Berks Co. Emma was also a member of Shartlesville Lions Club, Appalachian Snowmobile Club, and the Shartlesville Fire Company and beneficial association. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Emma is survived by two sons, Larry G., husband of Beatrice M. (Smith) Wenger, and Dale A., husband of Debra J. (Miller) Wenger, both of Upper Bern Twp.; and one daughter, Janice M. (Wenger), wife of Rodney L. Loeb of Upper Bern Twp., and with whom she last resided. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Janet L. (Forney) Wenger of Manheim; 10 grandchildren, Lyle, Joanne, Stephanie, Doug, Bradley, Stacy, Ryan, Wesley, Danielle, and Janelle; and 14 great- grandchildren. Emma was predeceased by a son, Gary L. Wenger, who died September 14, 1986; and three sisters, Ada (Gingrich) Dundore, Mildred (Gingrich) Hoke, and Verna (Gingrich) Bordlemay. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Mohrsville Church of the Brethren with the Rev. James R. Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Viewpoint Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th St., Hamburg (off street parking in rear), and Wednesday 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions may be sent to Mohrsville Church of the Brethren Building Fund, 1483 Shoey Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
