Main St., died Saturday, May 29, 2010, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Carole L. Bixler Werni, with whom he would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary July 2010. Born in Lebanon, on June 23, 1941, he was the son of the late Stephen and Hilda M. Deck Werni. He was a retired employee of ALCOA, Lebanon. Bob was a 1960 graduate of South Lebanon High School. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Annville, member and secretary of the Lebanon County Radio Control Club, and a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. He enjoyed woodworking, especially making furniture and gifts. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four daughters, Stephanie, wife of Eric Boeshore of Ashville, N.C., Nicole, wife of Richard Enigk of Annville, Heather, wife of Thomas Backenstoes of Harrisburg, and Renee, wife of Jeffrey Doyno of Palmyra; grandchildren, Samantha and Logan Boeshore, Ricky, Carolyn, and Robby Enigk, Steven, Oliva, and Michael Backenstoes, and Scott and Owen Doyno; three brothers, Richard Werni of Lebanon, Leonard Werni of Lebanon, and Stephen Werni of Lickdale; and a sister, Christine, wife of Henry Wagner of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Werni. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, at 3 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewings will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. at the Werni Home, 414 E. Main St., Annville, and on Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
