  PALMYRA Suzanne (Wieme) Whitlock, 66, passed away peacefully with her loving 
  family by her side on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at her home. She was 
  predeceased by her husband, Theodore Whitlock, Jr., in 1987. She was born 
  Sunday, February 6, 1944, in Hattiesburg, Miss., to the late William W. and 
  Betty L. (Eggert) Wieme. She is survived by a sister, Marilyn W. Maloney; and a 
  nephew, Scott Maloney both of Carrollton, Texas. She earned a BS from Douglass 
  College in 1966 and MS from Rutgers University in 1969. She worked for 
  International Flavors & Fragrances in New Jersey for four years and later 
  retired from Hershey Foods after 27 years of service, where she worked as a 
  Group Leader. She was a tutor with the Lebanon Literacy Council, and was 
  dedicated to helping children through her ministry of giving. Funeral services 
  will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation 
  Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078, with Pastor Samuel Fry 
  officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 1 p.m. until time 
  of the service. Private burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, New Brunswick, 
  N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to 
  Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 
  17011; or American Cancer Society , 526 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.
