  Rev. Norman J. Wilson 
  
  READING Reverend Norman J. Wilson, 80, formerly of Lake Wynonah, Auburn, passed 
  away on Friday, December 3, 2010, in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband 
  of Miriam (Provins) Wilson, who passed away in 2000. Born in Frederick, Md., he 
  was a son of the late Millard Wilson and Rebecca (Swartz) Wilson. Norm was a 
  1948 graduate of Martinsburg High, Gettysburg College 1960, and Gettysburg 
  Lutheran Seminary in 1963. He completed his seminarian work at St. Matthews 
  Lutheran, Martinsburg. He served as Pastor of Trinity Lutheran in Greencastle, 
  St. Paul's Lutheran in Biglerville, Benders Lutheran in Bendersville, and 
  Millcreek Lutheran in Newmanstown. In retirement, he was the interim Pastor at 
  St. Paul's Lutheran in Orwigsburg and St. John's Lutheran in Pine Grove. Norm 
  enjoyed barbershop singing, performing with the Sound of Renown Quartet, 
  Lebanon Cedars, and Dundalk Barbershop Chorus. Norm is survived by his 
  brothers, Kenneth and Gordon Wilson; his three children, Curtis Wilson of 
  Phillipsburg, N.J., Kathleen Hummel of Reading, and David Wilson of Charlotte 
  N.C. Grandchildren include Joshua, Nathan, and Chris Hummel, and Colin and Ryan 
  Wilson. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, at 
  Zion Blue Mountain U.C.C., located just off Rte 78 on Route 183/old route 22. 
  Family will receive friends and relatives from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. 
  Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society , 498 Bellevue Ave., 
  Reading, PA 19605. Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., Reading, is in charge of 
  arrangements.
