Wolf LEBANON Karolyn Grace Wolf, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Lebanon on March 14, 1931, Karolyn was the daughter of the late John Abraham and Irma Gibble Kurtz. Karolyn was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon where she married the late Robert A. Wolf in 1950, who was also a member of the church. She loved traveling the world, sewing, and music, especially at the piano while playing 'Anchors Aweigh.' Karolyn was funny, energetic, and had a strong work ethic. She worked most of her life as a Secretary. She worked at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss., for the Commonwealth of PA in Harrisburg as a Key Punch Operator, and most recently at Philhaven as a Kitchen Aide, where she also volunteered. She was a 1949 graduate of Lebanon High School and played the clarinet in the band. She is survived by two daughters, Betsy May Elizabeth Wolf, and Suzanne Karolyn Wolf, wife of Mike Haitos of Lebanon; one brother, John Abraham Kurtz Jr. of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Robert Wolf. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 8th and Willow Sts., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karolyn's name may be made to Salem Lutheran Church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
