  Leroy W. Yiengst 
  
  LEBANON Leroy W. "Shorty" Yiengst, 87, of 809 Oak Lane, died on Tuesday, 
  September 21, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on Saturday, 
  December 2, 1922, to the late Herbert Yiengst and Laura Yiengst nee Ruth in 
  Reading. He worked at Cornwall Ore Mines and was a veteran of the Army, having 
  served in World War II. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing cards, and the 
  outdoors. Surviving are wife, Christine R. Yiengst nee Reppert of Lebanon; son, 
  Ricky Lee Yiengst of Lebanon; grandchildren, Amy, spouse of Jesus Lopez of 
  Florida, and Edward Kale, Jr. of Lebanon; great-grandchildren, Julisa Lopez, 
  Deanna Lopez, and Kasara Kale; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded 
  in death by daughter, Karen Yiengst. Viewing will be on Saturday from 10 to 11 
  a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral 
  services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 
  Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service. Christman's Funeral 
  Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
