  Elsie B. Zimmerman 
  
  Elise B. Zimmerman AKRON Elsie B. Zimmerman, 82, entered into rest at Fairmount 
  Homes on Saturday, August 14, 2010. Born in Martindale, she was the daughter of 
  the late Martin and Susanna (Burkholder) Zimmerman. A member of Springville 
  Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference, she had worked as a nurse's aide at 
  the Ephrata Community Hospital for many years prior to retirement. Elsie is 
  survived by two brothers, John A. (the late Edna Horning) Zimmerman of Ephrata; 
  and Paul B. (Lena Burkholder) Zimmerman of Ephrata; five sisters, Eva (the late 
  Paul Z.) Martin of Womelsdorf; Anna (Mervin W.) Horst of Richland; Esther 
  (Willis N.) Good of Myerstown; Sarah (Raymond) Zimmerman of Lebanon; and Susan 
  (Paul) Martin of Stevens; a sister-inlaw, Vera (the late Eli) Zimmerman of 
  Ephrata; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in 
  death by three brothers, Elmer, Eli and Martin Zimmerman; and a sister, Mary 
  Zimmerman. A viewing will be held at the Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 
  333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will 
  be held at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the Wheat Ridge Chapel followed by further 
  services at 9:30 a.m. from the Weaverland Old Order Mennonite Church with 
  Bishop Lester B. Martin and Ministers Wilmer Martin, Walter Zimmerman and Gary 
  Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. 
  Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Akron/Ephrata.
