M shabodeho@aol.com June 26, 2011, 11:44 am Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 21, 2011 David I. Albright LEBANON David I. Albright, 56, died on Friday, June 17, 2011, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the son of Isaac and Joan Kirkwood Albright of Lebanon. He was born on February 21, 1955, in Lebanon. He was a member of the former St. Gertrude's, now St. Cecilia Parish. David graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School in 1973. After graduation, he went into the U.S. Navy. After basic training he was with the 6th Fleet stationed in Norfolk. He served on the U.S.S. Independence. After his service, he started to work for Hershey Foods, where he retired last year after 34 years. David was a NASCAR fan of Geoffrey Bodine, and a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He also loved camping, swimming, and cooking on his grill. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Debra Chipperfield of Norristown; and two brothers, Dennis and Thomas Albright, both of Lebanon. His God child, Ann Marie Albright Slivers; one aunt, Kathryn Kirkwood; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. from The Church of St. Cecilia 202 E. Lehman St. Lebanon, Pa. 17046. Visitation Friday morning 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family on Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
