  Bette L. Anspach 
  
  MICHIGAN Bette Louise Anspach, 87, passed away quickly of colon cancer. She was 
  a long time teacher and a friend to many. Her mother and dad and two brothers 
  preceded her in death. She is survived by her family of friends and many 
  students whose lives she touched. Bette graduated from Lebanon High School in 
  1941 and earned her B.S. degree in Education from the University of 
  Pennsylvania. She was also certified in special education and taught many years 
  in that field. She planted many seeds of love during her teaching career and 
  they flowered and grew with loyalty, admiration and understanding. A memorial 
  service was held in Northville, Mich., on April 30, 2011. The Rev. David Blake 
  officiated the service. Her resting place will be at Glen Eden Memorial Park in 
  Livonia, Mich.
