  MYERSTOWN Paul E. Batz, 97, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. Born in Pine Grove, he was the son of the 
  late David and Mary (Lentz) Batz. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during 
  WWII. Paul was employed at Colove Pontiac-Cadillac in Robesonia for 40 years. 
  He was a member of the Pioneer Hose Co., Robesonia, the Heidelberg Heritage 
  Society, Wernersville, and the Berks County Historical Society. He is survived 
  by a number of nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by three brothers, 
  Walter, Ralph, and Charles Batz; and three sisters, Bertha Tobias, Anna 
  Keener, and Pauline Colove. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at 
  Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Inc., Wernersville, with the Rev. Lee Diefenderfer 
  officiating. Interment at Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia. Friends are invited 
  to call Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
