  LEBANON Marie E. (Harkins) Beare, 68, died Sunday July 31, 2011, in the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Kenneth E. Beare with whom 
  she would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary September 11, 2011. 
  Born in Lebanon on December 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd 
  and Pauline Risser Harkins. She was employed by Thousand Trails Campground, 
  South Annville Twp., the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, and the Crippled 
  Children's Hospital, Elizabethtown. Marie was a 1961 graduate of Annville-
  Cleona High School, worshipped in the Methodist faith, loved farm life and was 
  happy to live on her grandparent's farm in the summer of her teenage years. 
  She was a warm and caring person who enjoyed spending time with her 
  grandchildren and loved her wonderful family and friends and all their loving 
  support. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Michael D. Beare 
  of South Annville, Matthew A. husband of Toni Miller Beare of South Annville; 
  two grandchildren, Spencer and Emily Beare; a sister, Evelyn Schatzman of Cape 
  Cod, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on 
  Thursday at 11:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. 
  Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing 
  will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the 
  funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American 
  Cancer Society.
