  Josephine C. Bender 
   
  ANNVILLE Josephine C. Bender, 94, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011, at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Bender. Born 
  in Heilmandale, Lebanon County, on March 16, 1916, she was the daughter of the 
  late Robin G. and Catharine (Bixler) Daubert. She was a member of the American 
  Business Women Association. She was past President and Woman of the Year for 
  the Lebanon County Charter Chapter and the Hemlock Chapter. She enjoyed 
  traveling and bowling, and loved antiques. She is survived by two sons, Raymond 
  J.G., husband of Beverly A. Bender of Lebanon, and William J., husband of 
  Sandra Bender of Lebanon; four grandchildren, William, Teresa, Jason, and 
  Brian; five great-grandchildren, Keaton Bender, Kiley Bender, Sophia Bender, 
  Jaden Scott, and Cameron Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the 
  last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by 12 siblings, Henry, 
  George, Richard, Robin, Joseph, James, Raymond, and Cyril Daubert, Christine 
  Poorman, Clare Heisey, and Emma and Dorothy Daubert. Funeral Mass Thursday 11 
  a.m. at St. Paul The Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville 17003. 
  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.  
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, is entrusted with the 
  arrangements.
