Linda L. Bender 

LEBANON Linda L. Bender, 63, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 14, 2011. She 
was the wife of Harold A. Bender, to whom she was married 48 years. She was 
born in Lebanon, on August 18, 1947, daughter of the late Frank and Freda 
Weaber Markey. Linda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed 
crocheting. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Kevin S. 
Bender and wife, Cindy of Lebanon; stepsons, Jeffrey Bender and wife, Darlene 
of Newmanstown, and Michael Bender and wife, Anita of Williamstown; five 
stepgrandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; sisters, Coletta Metz, 
Virginia Eisenhauer, Dianne Riggi, Freda Mann, Doris Getz, Dorothy Wolfe, and 
Dolly Overly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on 
Friday at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, 
where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment 
will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, 
contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
