  PALMYRA Christine A. Beuchler, 90, of 914 E. Cherry St., died Friday, December 
  23, 2011, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Robert 
  E. Beuchler, who died in 2002. Born in Union Twp., on July 6, 1921, she was 
  the daughter of the late Morris D. and Annie E. Raber Houser. Christine 
  graduated from Jonestown High School in 1939, and was a member of Palm 
  Lutheran Church, Palmyra, and its Chapel Sunday School Class, Lebanon Polka 
  Pals, Lebanon AARP, and the Lebanon Senior Center. Surviving are a son, 
  Richard A. Beuchler of Lancaster; a daughter, Anne, wife of Frederick 
  Carpenter of Palmyra; two grandchildren, Michael Carpenter and Amanda 
  Pfeiffer; three great-grandchildren, Jesse and Megan Carpenter, and Savannah 
  Pfeiffer; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two 
  brothers, Clarence and Paul Houser; and two sisters, Miriam Fittery and 
  Kathryn Long. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the 
  Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will 
  be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. 
  prior to the service at the funeral home.
