  PALMYRA Joanne N. Bigler, 80, and formerly of Elizabethtown and Mount Joy 
  passed away Friday, August 26, 2011, in the Castagna House at the Lebanon 
  Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. She was the widow of Earl Bigler. Born February 
  10, 1931, in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Carrie 
  (Speece) Nornhold. Retired from the Elizabethtown Crippled Children's 
  Hospital, she was a member of Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren; a former 
  member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren and Girl Scout leader. Surviving are 
  her sister, Shirley, wife of Norman Yingst of Annville; nieces and nephews, 
  Tracy Nornhold of Palmyra, Shaun, husband of Holly Nornhold of Palmyra, Doreen 
  Longenecker of Annville, Steve, husband of Kathy Yingst of Hummelstown and 
  Timothy, husband of Carol Yingst of Palmyra; sister-in-law, Sandra Nornhold of 
  Palmyra; and numerous great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 
  held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the DiMatteo Worship Center of the Lebanon Valley 
  Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb St., Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 1:30 p.m.
