(Brunner) Booser, 90, was quietly called by Jesus, into His presence on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. She was born Saturday, May 22, 1920 in Perry County to the late Lee T. and Anna (Reich) Brunner Diener. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Rev. Jay R. Booser, owner of Beltone Hearing Aid Service, Lititz Pike, Lancaster. She attended Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, taught Sunday school and was a loving homemaker. She had a gift for interior design and decoration, kept a spotless home, was a talented seamstress, enjoyed games, was an avid Phillies fan, and was known for her tireless sense of humor. Her greatest joy was serving the Lord by raising and loving her family. She is survived by a son, Donald J. Booser and wife Helen of Hershey; three daughters, Janet R. Dick of Hershey, Marian L. Snyder and husband Gary of Palmyra; Deborah J. Bashore and husband Keith of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Kimberly Booser, Kylan Booser, Justin Dick, Brandon Dick, Cara Snyder, and Seth Bashore; two foster grandchildren, Ernest Wilcox and Aaron Smith; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Conrad and husband Harry of Shermans Dale, Fern Kipe and husband Rev. Elmer of Camp Hill, and Nancy Miller and husband Clarence of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Edward Brunner and wife Pat of Carlisle, and Lee Brunner, Jr. and wife Pauline of Carlisle; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Brunner of Carlisle; and 21 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Kevin Booser; a son-in-law, George Dick; two brothers, Leroy and James Brunner. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in Shenks Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
